Surprisingly, Bhool Chook Maaf is watchable and well made movie. This is 2nd movie after Skyforce from Maddock films which is good but the numbers screwed it and now BCM coming on Amazon in 2 weeks killed it further.
The climax of BCM reminds of another gem of movie, Tamil language, Dragon (starring Pradeep or Love Today fame). If anyone has not watched that one, please do watch it as well.

Watched Sanam Teri Kasam last night, and it holds pretty well, and I recommend everyone to watch it if they haven’t. Harshvardhan Rane was great and I can understand why girls love this character so much. He never smiles in entire movie, tough guy falling in love with tragic ending. Mowra was great as well but again Pakistani actress so not much praise from anywhere. Coincidentally, Mowra got married on exact day of STK re-release this friday and that boosted some of the movie fans interest. Love the title track and still great even today. Kheech meri photo still sounds peppy. The movie doesn’t look dated at all. Watch it if you haven’t. Even available on YouTube.

Watched Jigra in cinemas this week. It’s definitely on the drier side but it’s still a well made movie and can age well. This would have been a boxoffice flop even on paper before production started but it’s good that they went ahead and made a dark and emotional off-beat movie without songs and without any over the top action of current trend. Alia Bhatt is fantastic and it’s a dream role for any female star who always did such movies where it’s performance role but now everyone equates that with boxoffice and think it’s a failure. They could have easily released this on Netflix and garner all the praises.
